Tariq qualified from Liverpool University 25 years ago and is a partner at Asden House Dental Clinic. He has a special interest in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, implants and facial rejuvenation.

    Shobhna qualified from Birmingham University 25 years ago and is a partner at Asden House Dental Clinic. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, aesthetic orthodontics and facial rejuvenation.

      Dr Sharmila Thumbe BDS FDRCS

      BDS FDRCS, Dental Surgeon, Associate

      Sharmila qualified as a dentist in 1996 in India.
      Following her qualification she worked in the UK at a maxillofacial department in a hospital and currently works part time as a community dentist.
      Sharmila is committed to further education and is involved in a part-time post-graduation course in orthodontics at Warwick University.

      She has a particular interest in minor oral surgical procedures and orthodontics. Also having worked as a community dentist, Sharmila has a wealth of experience in treating anxious adults and children.

        Mrs Helen Sahota

        Practice Manager

        Helen has worked as our practice manager for sixteen years and holds a Diploma in Practice Management. She is highly organised and is responsible for the day to day running of the practice.
        Helen started her career as a dental nurse and has a wealth of knowledge about all the services we offer and is happy to talk to patients about any of these. This makes her a very sympathetic mediator between the patients and the dentist.

          Dr. Farheen Rehman BDS


          Farheen is also known as Faz to her Patients. She qualified from the University of Birmingham and has since been working in general practice across the West Midlands, where she has received recognition for her work on her vocational training scheme.

          She is an enthusiastic clinician and enjoys being part of a caring team, Faz has successfully completed part 1 of the MJDF to gain membership into the Royal College of Surgeons and anticipates to complete the final part in the near future. Faz focuses on a preventative and evidence-based approach to dentistry. Her particular interests are in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

          In her free time she loves to travel, shop and spending time with family and friends.

            Dr Seema Mehay BDS

            Seema has qualified from India in 2005. She enjoys providing General Dentistry and places emphasis on educating patients according to their dental needs. She has successfully completed her part 1 of MJDF to become a member of Royal College of Surgeons and anticipates to finish part2 in the near Future. She is passionate about her work and Her particular interests are restorative, aesthetic dentistry and treating anxious patients. Outside work, she loves spending quality family time, cooking, reading and socialising.

              Dr Hibah Shaheed BDS

              Hibah studied and qualified locally from the University of Birmingham. She has currently completed part 1 of the MJDF postgraduate exam and is looking forward to finishing part 2 in the near future. She enjoys working with children and has volunteered in the past to deliver oral health awareness to primary schools in Birmingham. Hibah grew up in the Middle East and now thoroughly enjoys travelling all over the world, especially to her roots in Sri Lanka. In her spare time you'll most likely find her baking, knitting, playing the guitar or badminton.

                Dr Mehul Shah BDS MBBS MFDSRCS (Ed)

                Mehul qualified from King's College London as a dentist in 2011. Following his qualification he worked in the East of England for his foundation year and at the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at the Beds, Herts and Bucks OMFS Network.

                Mehul is committed to further education and embarked on a medical degree in 2014 completing in 2018 as well as continuing to work in a London Maxillofacial Department for the duration of the degree.

                He has a particular interest in minor oral surgical procedures and restorative dentistry. Mehul is looking to start his implant training in the near future.

                  Dr Sarosh Imtiaz BDS

                  I studied and qualified from Cardiff University without picking up a word of Welsh unfortunately.
                  My interest's within dentistry include using white fillings to enhance aesthetics, working with children and helping anxious patients. I like to volunteer my time to deliver preventative advice and dental care to those living in less privileged parts of the world with Honduras being my most recent destination.
                  Outside of work you might find me at the gym, dancing away to Micheal Jackson, reading or playing football.
